LESSON PLAN 1

Detailed sets of activities that could possibly be implemented

Competency

1. Daily living skills

· Making personal friends

ü In a box, each student will choose a picture among the many choices.

ü On a chart, each student will post their picture according to interests (list of interests based on what IEP shows).

ü Pretend. With the strips of papers, each is given dialogues/scripts of usual conversations on a restaurant when introduced to a new friend, or in a gathering, or in a sports center or a visitor.

ü Point out/suggest on how to make meeting more acceptable and proper.

Sample:

Likes to play some sports

Likes to listen to music

Like to go on picnics and malls

Likes to stay at home and do quiet stuff

· Selecting and managing a household

ü Scrapbooking: collect pictures of furniture and appliances that is just enough and cost effective to make life meaningful

ü Identify and familiarize the proper use and care of each
