What is UNRATTLES pedagogy?... soon...

Conceptual Framework

Nursery Rhymes is a concept when formulated in tuned with the basic curriculum is an effective experiential tool that promotes activities like jumping, squeezing, sitting, shaking hands or simply being quiet, feeling good, saying sorry and understanding sequential situations to judge cause and effect. These are learning activities that encourage skills acquisition such as motor, language, cognitive, emotional and socio-behavioural skills.[1]

Nursery rhymes are beneficial in regards to social and emotional development due to a variety of reasons. Children often sing or recite nursery rhymes with a group that includes other children or with significant adults in their lives. Singing or reciting nursery rhymes in a group exposes children to an opportunity to develop social skills. Positive physical contact, which is linked to healthy emotional development, is usually a part of this interaction (Kenney, 2005).[2]
