Benchmark : At the end of the activity, the students should be able to match the
correct flashcards /d/ or /ed/ to the present tense form to
change it to past tense form of the regular verb.
Task : Roll the Dice
1. Let us form a circle.
2. On the floor in the middle of the big circle is the Verb Dice with
present tense verbs and picture of the verb on top
3. By taking turns, each will roll the dice .
4. When the dice stops, choose the right suffix to match the present tense verb to form the past tense.
Ex: walk + ed = walked
dance + d = danced
5. Show it to the class and read.
