Benchmark : At the end of the activity, the students should be able to form a
story with the guide of a pictograph or graphic organizer.
Task : Tell Tale !
1. On the Pocket Chart are pictures of people, places and some objects.
2. Let us tell a story about the pictures on the board.
3. Teacher starts: “Once upon a time, there was a majestic kingdom by the sea.”
4. Teacher points to the first student who will create a sentence to add to the first one to continue the story.
5. By taking turns, each student will create a sentence to add to the previous one to continue the story.
6. The last student ends it with the sentence: “..and they all lived happily ever after.”
7. Let us all read the story we have created as a class.
